Chain stitch
This is a really simple stitch so it's super easy to do! Let’s not let beautiful items go to waste because of tiny little defects.
Instructions:
Start by bringing your thread through the fabric from the back, close to the edge of the hole.
Then reinsert it a few mm to one side, and bring your needle back up through the hole to catch the stitch before it's fully pulled through.
Continue all the way around the hole and then repeat all around, this time catching the previous stiches instead of the fabric.
Continue until the hole is filled in and then tie off on the reverse.
